It is great that the courses are held by German experts. That strengthens our self-confidence. We get to know sports management from the perspective of the European education system, which is extremely useful as the European and Russian systems have many differences. The courses are really unique. We managed to cover numerous fundamental and important topics, including sports marketing, organisation of sports management, doping and corruption in sports. For me this is absolutely new knowledge. That's why I'm here listening with my mouth open.

I would particularly like to emphasise the lectures format of the German professors. A theoretical part in combination with the processing of practice-oriented case studies ensured complete immersion in the subject! Using various case scenarios, I tried out my skills as a top manager, business analyst, sponsor, or high-performance athlete. In my opinion, it was a very harmonious course — informative and very exciting. The accompanying cultural programme contributed enormously to the fact that we quickly formed a cohesive team. I am leaving the summer school as a person enriched by valuable experiences with new knowledge and many nice and useful contacts in my luggage!

The days were very eventful: lectures in the morning, excursions in the afternoon. The lectures by German professors were very informative. It wasn't difficult to grasp, as they explained a lot through practical tasks. And in the afternoon we got to know numerous sports facilities. Everywhere we were greeted by friendly staff who shared many useful and important details from sports management using practical examples. I am very happy that I had decided to spend two summer weeks in Kazan. In addition, participants from all over Russia gathered here. We communicated a lot, told each other about life in our cities, exchanged knowledge, because new contacts and experiences are the most important thing!

Two years ago I myself managed to take part in the summer school in Chelyabinsk. For me, this had created a completely new vision of professional fields in which I would like to develop further. The summer school is the opportunity to completely immerse yourself in the field of knowledge and to establish the closest connection between theory and practice. German experts deal with completely different, but always up-to-date topics. The most important thing is to develop skills for solving non-standard tasks in the field of sports management and economics.

I'm very satisfied. Everything was perfectly organised. The lectures were extremely interesting. There were many examples from football that I love very much! There was a lot of information about how the sports leagues work in Germany and other countries. All of this will surely be useful to me in the future.

My expectations were met to 200%! It is great that this summer school is not a commercial project that is being realised by a state university. This fact and the participation of the DAAD in the project ensure the necessary quality guarantee. I am sure that the “school community” that has emerged here will not fall apart and will continue to help me a lot. Furthermore, the lecturers at the summer school taught us the technical terminology without which it is impossible to work on a professional level. In addition, the principle of group work practiced here when working on case studies is also very important. There is simply no other approach to implementing projects. This is the only way to develop a quality product.

I particularly enjoyed all the courses and lectures on the subject of sports management. There were many examples of professors, as well as case studies and group work where we could share our ideas and also develop our communication skills.

At the summer school of the University of Jena in Moscow, I gained a lot of new knowledge about sports management and marketing. The lecturers are very professional and impart knowledge using integrative teaching methods. I also got the chance to make lots of new friends.

I like the intensity of the lessons. I think the information we get here is really important and the lecturers are very professional. I like the system that the German lecturers use to convey the material: there is a lot of interaction, communication, a lot of group work ... and we have a lot of fun with it.
