Note on data protection in connection with the Summer School of the DAAD “Sports Economics & Management”
The Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University process personal data in connection with the participation of students from the Republic of Kazakhstan and possibly other countries in the Summer School of the DAAD “Sports Economics & Management”. 3. Purposes and legal basis for data processing
The Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University process your personal data for the purpose of admission of participants and reporting to the DAAD and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The legal basis for this is section 6 subsection 1 sentence 1 point (e) GDPR read together with section 5 subsection 9 of the Thuringian Higher Education Act and section 12 of the Grant Agreement between the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the DAAD of February 9, 2021.
4. Who receives the data?
Due to legal requirements, the University may disclose personal data to other legal persons, for example the DAAD, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, and other authorities, if and when the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University are legally required to so do.
5. How long will my data be stored?
Your personal data will be stored until the purposes for processing no longer exist or until the statutory or administrative retention period has expired.
6. Your rights
